Quest Global – Required Qualifications & Skills :

• Job Role: Trainee Engineer (This is not a software role)
• Job Location: Bangalore
• Cut Off Criteria: Minimum 60% throughout academics
• Backlogs: No standing arrears/ backlogs during the selection process
• Degree: BE / B.Tech
• Year of Completion: 2023 / 2024
• Eligible Branch/Stream: Petroleum Engineering
• Salary: 4.25 LPA (4 LPA fixed + 25k retention bonus payable post completion of 1 year)
• Service Agreement/ Bond: 3 years
• Selection Process: Online Assessment + Technical Interview + HR Interview (Shortlisting on all stages)

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs).
• Familiarity with database management (SQL, NoSQL).
• Knowledge of frameworks and tools relevant to software development (e.g., Spring, Angular, React).

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Adaptability to changing requirements and new technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software.
2. Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise.
3. Identify and solve bottlenecks within our software stack.
4. Learn all the key steps of test development for production release of new products, including generating test plan, design test hardware and software, etc.
5. Work with people from different function groups to solely manage assigned projects, supported by mentorship
6. Support engineering evaluation / investigation projects
7. Coordinate engineering teams to solve testing related issues
8. Perform data collection and analysis to support engineering evaluation / investigation projects including documenting and publishing summary reports in PowerPoint
