Job Overview:
IBM is looking for a skilled and innovative Application Developer specializing in Mobile Android to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences and contribute to IBM’s mission of creating cutting-edge technology solutions.
IBM – Required Qualifications & Skills :
- Proven knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Proven knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Ability to design/develop/support new/existing apps, and perform unit testing and integration testing
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
