Job Overview:
Micron Technology is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and optimizing software solutions that drive innovation in the memory and storage industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain software systems that enhance Micron’s products and services.
Micron – Required Qualifications & Skills :
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in understanding and diagnosing technical issues.
- Familiarity with cloud-based services of Azure, AWS, and SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity to code or script debug.
- Backend data analysis.
- Experience in Integration platforms.
- Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively.
- Knowledge of Powershell and Python
- Familiar with ITSM tools and understand the processes involved well.
- Good to know how to use Generative AI tools in day-to-day work.
- Resolve technical issues related to In-house applications based on dotNet, API related queries, Boomi or any integration platform basic trouble shooting.
- Collaboration with Customers and Vendor via email, chat, or remote desktop connections.
- Operational support escalation
- Aware and experience in Incident management, Problem management and Change Management.
- Maintain OLA and SLA agreements with other Micron Business Units
- Should be proactive and automate regular tasks.
- Flexible to work on Shifts to provide 24×7 support to the applications
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with embedded systems, real-time operating systems, or low-level programming.
- Familiarity with memory or storage technologies.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for technology and continuous learning.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Continually improves operations through routine monitoring of system performance metrics and proactive actions.
- Reviewing of system log files, trend analysis, configuration, incident, problem and change management processes.
- Recommends and works with the Solution and Enterprise Architect on system or architectural changes when needed to improve performance, high availability, scalability, or propose innovative technologies.
- Ensures architectural consistency and provides technical direction through roadmap process, knowledge management, disaster recovery plan development and testing.
- Creating all the necessary documentation for any changes in the environment or innovative technology deployments as reference architecture for the global operation team.
